App Review: isnowreport

isnowreport resort snow forecastsI have been using this since 2013. I don’t really worry about inbounds forecasts, but I used it to track snow in Silverton, CO. If you are riding in resorts, it’s a great app to have.

iSnowReport is an application created to be the ultimate resource for our community of local Colorado skiers and riders. iSnowReport will display information for all Colorado ski resorts and will allow users to sort by resort name and new snow.

For each Colorado resort, iSnowReport features

  • Snow conditions and base depth
  • Open lifts, trails and terrain
  • Night skiing and riding
  • Pipe and park features
  • Weekday and weekend hours
iSnowReport also allows users to access
  • NOAA weather
  • Resort websites
  • Trail maps
  • Landscape/Portrait mode

Conditions, park and pipe features can also be found on the app as well as the weekend and weekday hours. The app can be used in both portrait and landscape mode to view resort websites and trail maps. Use the tabs along the bottom of the app to check out maps, snow reports, POW alerts, mark favorites, and view information.
